Vaccination Policy

In line with each State Government Health regulations and guidelines, we have vaccination policies in place where necessary.

Before you try your luck in our arcade, check out the policies below, so we can keep you, your fellow guests and our staff safe.

Policies may differ from state to state. Information will be updated in line with relevant State Government regulations.

nsw policy

In line with NSW State Government Health regulations and guidelines, unvaccinated guests may now attend any of our venues in NSW, across all age groups. While we no longer require proof of vaccination, we still require all guests to check-in via the QR codes in venue.

qld policy

Due to QLD State Government health regulations and guidelines, we require all guests over the age of 16 to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or medical exemption to enter our venues.

On arrival, our venue teams in QLD will need to see a copy of your vaccination status or medical exemption, there are different types of proof available that you can get for free:

  • Printed or digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate;
  • Online immunisation history statement - downloaded from MyGov, Medicare, My Health Record;
  • International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate for overseas travel; or;
  • Medical exemptions provided from a medical practitioner in the form approved by the relevant States’ Chief Health Officer

Guests under the age of 18 who are fully vaccinated may attend our venues without an adult (except where liquor licensing and other relevant venue policies apply.)

Guests under the age of 16 do not need to provide proof of vaccination or check-in.

In the event that guests over the age of 16 are not able to provide proof of vaccination or exemption, due to QLD State Government guidelines similar to liquor licensing rules we will not be able to provide entry to venues, due to financial penalties for guests and businesses.

On arrival, our venue teams in VIC will need to see a copy of your vaccination status or medical exemption, which can be in the form of:

  • Printed or digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate;
  • Online immunisation history statement - downloaded from MyGov, Medicare; or
  • Medical exemptions provided from a medical practitioner in the form approved by the relevant States’ Chief Health Officer

In the event that guests 18 years and over are unable to provide proof of vaccination or exemption, due to VIC State Government guidelines similar to liquor licensing rules we will not be able to provide entry to venues, due to financial penalties for guests and businesses.

wa policy

In line with WA State Government health regulations and guidelines, from January 31, we will require all guests over the age of 16 to be double vaccinated and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or medical exemption to enter any of our WA venues.

From January 31, upon arrival, our venue teams will need to see a copy of your vaccination status or medical exemption, there are different types of proof available that you can get for free:

  • Printed or digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate;
  • Online immunisation history statement - downloaded from MyGov, Medicare, My Health Record;
  • International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate for overseas travel; or;

What is an acceptable proof of vaccination in NSW & VIC for guests over the age of 16?

Accepted proof of vaccination documents include the following:

- Printed or digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate;

- Online immunisation history statement - downloaded from MyGov, Medicare; or

- Medical exemptions provided from a medical practitioner in the form approved by the relevant States’ Chief Health Officer

Why do I need to show my certificate of vaccination?

Funlab always tries to comply with government requirements around guest safety, which require us to ensure guests attending our venues can provide proof of vaccination status or medical exemptions in the form approved by the relevant States’ Chief Health Officer.

Where do I get my certificate of vaccination?

Printed vaccination cards and certificates are provided at the time of your doses being administered and can be used as proof of vaccination.

You can login to your online My.Gov.au account and after linking your Medicare profile to your MyGov account can access either/or:

- Digital Vaccination PDF

- Digital Vaccination Card via Apple Wallet / Google Play

- Online Record of Immunisation

What if I refuse to check-in?

We are unable to provide entry to our NSW & VIC venues without the above proof of vaccination, similar to liquor licensing requirements.

If you have booked a function or event with us and are unable to provide proof of vaccination on arrival, we will not be able to provide refunds or postponements on the day of your function.
